SpeechLive - Foot control does not work in SpeechLive when transcribing outside of Google Chrome Browser

This issue can be resolved by installing and utilising the Philips Device Connector Software along side the Chrome Extension - simply follow the instructions below:

Firstly, Install the Chrome Web Extension to your Chrome Web Browser:

  1. Open up the Chrome Web Browser on your PC

  2. Navigate to the Philips Device Connector extension page in the Chrome web store.

  3. Click on Add to Chrome.

  4. A pop-up window appears, confirm the installation by clicking on Add extension.


Secondly, Download and install the Philips Device Connector:

  1. Download the latest Philips Device Connector native host application

  2. Run this application on your local machine and finish the setup.


Now, Restart your Chrome Web Browser and you are ready to begin transcription!
